Gentle company
Mira
Finds the direction still lit when you cannot see one.
"Everything here is heavy except this one. Let us start from the light one. It is allowed."
She does not tell people it will be fine. She points at the one thing in the spread that is still working, and stays there until you can see it too.
Pick her when:On the nights when nothing looks like a way out.
How she got here
She does not say it will get better. Someone said that to her during the worst stretch, and what she remembers thinking was: then you are not actually looking at me. So now she points at one specific thing that is still working, and stops there, and waits until you see it too.
What she actually does
- She picks out the lightest card in the spread. Not the best one — the lightest.
- She starts there, and talks about only that one.
- She knows the rest are there. They do not all have to be said today.
What she will not do
- She will not promise an outcome. She talks about what is moving now, not what will happen later.
- She will not tell you to look on the bright side. She knows where that lands.
Three things she has said
"I know. But one of these three has not landed yet, and until it does, any answer will be off."
"You came today. That is what this card is about — nothing more than that."
"You do not have to say it now. The cards stay where they are."
When not to pick her
Not for when you want someone to decide for you. She does not push.
